2026 Winter Classic Special Event Weekend

Grandview Hockey Winter Classic Logo with event title and a hockey player skating.

The Winter Classic will be happening over the January 10th and 11th weekend and each division will have games on both days. Please make sure you make note of the times. All game times are posed under “Events” in TeamLinkt as well. Dressing rooms will be open for each team 30 minutes before the game time. The games will be starting immediately, any players that are late will not be able to play the game!

There are special extras planned for this weekend as well including a commerative toque, collectable detailed programs, and prizes to be won!

And once again, we are planning for a professional music and sound system for the game including between period and game pump-ups and game commentary!

Let’s show our Grandview Hockey spirit off the ice as well! The Grandview Hockey Winter Classic is running a food drive during our special event weekend to support Thunder Bay food banks. Please bring donations of non-perishable items like pasta sauce, canned fruit, canned soups, pasta, baby formula, rice, cereal or dry beans and make a positive impact in our community. There will be collection boxes at our usual table area in the arena. Together, we can help those in need this winter season!
